Freifunk Frankfurt advocates for digital participation. We believe that access to the Internet and digital services is a fundamental right.
This is why we provide the non-commercial infrastructure for an open mesh-network in the Rhein-Main region and other Freifunk communities. We also provide compute and network ressources for other FLOSS projects like OpenWrt (where our firmware depends on).

Freifunk Frankfurt am Main e.V. is a nonprofit organization recognized by the Frankfurt tax office (Finanzamt) as Gemeinnützig for its work in education (Volks- und Berufsbildung) and Freifunk.
